Retailer's "shops" are maintained by them on a hosted DataCorp Web Server, using their own "forms" driven Client interface installed on their remote PC's, which can be used to change information on products featured in their shop. Unlimited drill-downs can be set-up for each product, by Department, Group, Brand Name or Product Type, which can incorporate additional information transparently presented to the visitor from third-party web sites.

Regular customers can log onto the site to see additional products on offer to them at preferential prices and can accumulate Loyalty Points for regular purchases from the site. This feature is particularly useful for Wine Merchants or Speciality Retailers, where shoppers may visit regularly.

Random visitors (those without a log-on password) to the site automatically view pricing at the default level, usually RRP. Capture screens for Credit Card payment facilities and Shipping information are also catered for as standard in the system.

Dynamic statistics are available from SellSmart. For example, it is possible to track individual customers entire movements each time they visit your catalogue. You can see which products they have viewed, how long they viewed each product, the site they left from to arrive at your site (excellent for measuring the effectiveness of banner promotions), and which site they visited when they left your "shop". This information, together with a whole lot more is instantly available from our on-line stats server accessed via a password protected web page.

SellSmart can handle multiple different shop-fronts for a single Retailer, which are individual web sites providing access to a central catalogue.
